Welcome to the home of the
Alaska Air Guard
Nearly 1,900 Alaskans serve as members of the Air National Guard. The Alaska Air Guard is
organized with a small Headquarters and the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center at Camp Denali;
the 176th Wing, with the 144th Airlift Squadron and the 210th Rescue Squadron, at Kulis ANG Base
next to Anchorage International Airport; the 168th Air Refueling Wing at Eielson Air Force Base,
and the 213th Space Warning Squadron at Clear Air Station; and the 176th Air Control Warning
Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Each mission is unique. With the exception of the Air
Headquarters and  Clear Air Station, each of the operational units are gained by the Pacific Air
Forces
.
